Why a Stack of Books?

St. Alphonsus was an Italian priest who had doctorates in both canon and civil law. He founded the Redemptorist order in the 18th century, wrote and spoke against Jansenism, and traveled all over Naples spreading the Gospel. However, he is most known for the many books he wrote, especially about moral and dogmatic theology.
