Why a Jesuit symbol?

St. Ignatius was born in Spain and lived quite a wild life before suffering an injury and spending time learning about the faith and about the lives of the saints, prompting his conversion. As he traveled, some people began to become his “companions”, which would become the Society of Jesus, the Jesuit order.
